
HOVE HORNETS RUNNING CLUB
A very sociable and family friendly running club. Aimed at all abilities, from beginners to marathoners.
Our membership is made up of beginners just getting in to running to marathoners challenging their PB's.
As a club we race all types of events across Sussex and host our own events.
If you want to get in to running or want to get faster in a supported group join us. You will have fun and you will meet a great group of runners.

Membership: £25 per year (membership runs from Nov-Oct)

WHEN DO WE MEET

We are open to all runners that want to have fun and train with great people.
8.40am Every Saturday at Parkrun (hove park) we meet by the climbing rock.
Enter Parkrun here and sign up as a Hornet (it's Free)
9am Every Sunday we get together for a training run, we meet at Corals Health and Fitness and run between 5-8 miles (longer for marathon runners), marathon training runs from end Nov - marathon day.
(Please note WSFRL are generally on Sundays and that's when we race so no training session takes place then)
Wed tempo sessions
Every wed 6pm and 7pm Matt organises a tempo running session, we meet at corals car park, sessions could be in the park/snakey hill or whatever Matt has planned. These sessions are 60mins and these are a SEPARATE cost of £45 for 6 weeks, sessions can be carried over due to illness or if you give Matt notice in advanced.
